I am having problems with the eBid site. Is there any known issues with the UK eBid site? The connection problems have prevented me from being able to login to the site. There are no issues with my broadband internet connection I can reach all other sites including eBay without problems. I have tried modifying my browser settings and even using a different browser but to no avail. If I an lucky enough to reach a cache version of the eBid home page the screen goes white when I try to login and I get the connection diagnostic error message. |

Hi,
Which ISP do you use? I know that there was an issue with Tiscalli as they
had I believe old DNS information.
There is a way around it if you are using Tiscalli - opendns.com

Thanks - according to the Tiscali forum this should now be resolved.
It seems to have been a problem with Tiscali not updating a DNS address
when eBid changed theirs. Other ISP's seem not to have been affected by
this and quickly updated their DNS settings (as should be the case).
You can read more on Tiscali's forum - here.
If you are still experiencing issues then you may wish to post on the
thread highlighted above.
As mentioned in my previous posting if you want a workaround then
you could visit http://www.opendns.com which should allow you to be
able to visit eBid as before.
